Our customer wanted to make use of a pair of patio doors that didn’t open on to anything and to make a BBQ area. The balustrade posts have to be designed and bolted in to the deck at the frame stage for strength. We raised this deck up on 100x100mm pressure treated posts spaced a metre apart for strength. Decks at this height need planning permission. We built this deck in October 2009.
